 Missing My Family While Studying at UKM

far from home, but close at heart

Studying at UKM is a great experience, but sometimes I really miss my family. Living far from home is not always easy. I often think about my parents, our dinners together, and the warm feeling of being at home. When I feel lonely, I look at family photos or call them to share my day. Hearing their voices always makes me feel better.

Even though I miss them, I know studying abroad helps me become more independent and strong. I’ve learned to take care of myself, manage my time, and face challenges alone. My family always encourages me to keep going and reminds me why I came here — to study hard and build a better future. Their love gives me strength, even when they are far away.
